The Snapper is a handsome fish the colors may vary, from orangish to reddish-yellow with small blue streaks on its head, back and flanks.

These fish can attain weights in excess of 25-30lbs. They are strong fighters on light tackle and can be taken on natural baits or small lures. They are found on reefs, wrecks, holes and channels. This is one GREAT eating fish whether baked, broiled, or prepared by any other method.
